I wish to examine the enduring tradition of reverent Anglican worship within the former Diocese of St John's, now comprising the Dioceses of Mthatha, Mzimvubu, and Mbashe. By arguing that liturgy is central to Anglican identity, embodying the principle lex orandi, lex credendi—that the Church's prayer shapes its faith. Highlighting disciplined ceremonial, sacred music, sacramental devotion, and theological intentionality having preserved a distinctive liturgical heritage rooted in the catholic tradition of Anglicanism. It also acknowledges the influence of the Rt Revd Sithembele Mzamane in strengthening this culture of reverence. Ultimately, the my approach contends that beautiful, ordered, and faithful worship not only nurtures Christian discipleship and ecclesial unity but also serves as a powerful witness to the Gospel in contemporary society.

  Gender-Based Violence (GBV) is not just a social issue, it’s a human crisis that affects families, communities, and the very soul of our nation. Every day, countless women, men, and children suffer in silence, carrying the scars of abuse, discrimination, and fear. This must end. My campaign to support the end of GBV is more than a message, it’s a call to action. It’s a commitment to creating a South Africa where safety, dignity, and respect are not privileges but rights for all. Ending GBV begins with you and me : by speaking out, by standing up, and by holding one another accountable. We must build a culture of respect, one where love is never used as an excuse for violence, and silence is never mistaken for consent. We must empower survivors, educate our youth, and challenge harmful norms that allow abuse to persist. Change starts in our homes, in our churches, in our schools, and in our communities.
